I have started to have these problems where the landing gear willl skid along, kicking up dust when taxiing. I also have FS PAx claiming I run off the end of the runway. When it does this I hear a growling sound like I am running over the grass. When I just took off from KLAS - it did this all the way from gate to taxi then when i got on the RW, it went away.
The attached pic show the dust kicked up.
Would appreciate anybody's help on this.
Thanks.

That's not skidding. There are some airports where areas that look paved are actually considered dirt by FS2004. Salt Lake City has several, and I know Las Vegas has at least one because I saw the dirt coming off the wheels when I was taxiing Thursday night.

Today I ran off end of RW both at ABQ and LAS - at least according to FS Pax- When I got about 1/2 to 3/4 down RW on landing, a rumbling noise started and I suspect the dirt was flying even though the rw looked paved. The KLAS airport is SIMFLYERS world AP 2, so I don't think the AFCAD would be messed up.

This might fix the problem of bumpy taxiways. - Have yet to try it out.
Move Ultimate Terrain below all "photos" in the scenery setup on FS9.

I don't know if the file works also for FS9 but there is a fix for this issue (works with FS2002). Browse "apronfix" in Avsim.

It might also be your contact points are messed up in the .cfg file. Maybe try another model and see if it does it to that one as well?

I think it has to do with a mis-match with add on scenery(free or pay). I have noticed it happens most at airports I have enhanced or downloaded 3rd stuff. Its never a bother to me, besides the bouncing up and down. I don't have FSPX so I can't help you there. Can you disable that part of the game? I'd like to know more about it and if its a good add on.
See you in the sky!

I love FSPassenger, it brings the level of the passengers point of view to FS, you can mantain a company, buy your FS aircraft, new or used, do scheduled maintance work, serve food, drinks, sandwichs, play movie on planes like the 757 and a trip length of 1.5 or more, it simulates failures, like my first flight with it in the Feelthere CRJ-200, used, I encoutered a bird strike that failed my right engine was forced to return to ATL. I'd say you would have almost a complete cockpit if you combine FSNet with FSPassenger, this is assuming you don't have an friends who want to ride with you.
