Do the different exams require seperate numbers of answers that must be correct? And how many answers have to be correct to pass it?

Anthony, all tests require that at least 16 of the 19 questions be answered correctly. Captains and F/O exams are graded equally. CHEERS!!!!

I'd like to make a correction to what Ken said.
I've had scores as low as 15/19 that have passed. I think 15/19 is the lowest acceptable score.

From what I recall it depends on the stage of the AC. I may be mistaken. Of course I've been waiting for the MD11 test to appear in my pilot center testing area but I've been held back because it still says I have to complete the 10 tests for 767 for which I've been a Senior Captian for well over a year. Hats off to Luke who has been working on this particular bug. I'm sure it will be resolved in due time. There isn't another VA that has such a complicated forum that has been so personalized as ours is. Just gives me more time to get used to other AC.

To pass the First Officer exam you need 67%
To pass the Captain exam 84%... it's the same for all DVA stage programs.
That's what I remember.

To expand on what Charly wrote, Captain exams require 16 out of 19 correct (84.2%) and FO exams require 13 out of 19 correct (68.4%). As Charly mentioned, that is across the board.
