Hi all...
I'm almost ready to buy this printer already; just wanted second opinions. The model is an HP1510; color printer and scanner.
The scanning resolution is at 1200x600 DPI. (I'm not looking for super-scanning, just the necessary to copy book's pages or photos)
The thing costs $150 USD more or less.
The ink for this costs approx $20 bux per pack.
The printer i have now is an HP Deskjet 640C, whose ink packs cost $40 each, but last a little bit more than 1510's.
Should I go for it? (i'm thinking yes) Anyone has experience with this model of printer?
Thanks very much.

I've got EPSON printers since a long time ago. Right now I have EPSON C87, has separate color cardtridges, here in MEX the black one is 220 and every color is 150. they last around 1 month of heavy printing (my wife is a teacher). The best quality always. Hope this helps, Eugenio.

When you print, do use the default printer quailty? If you use draft mode, you will get a lot more mileage out the cartridges.

I always use the lowest possible quality (draft), since they make us print big bunches of papers almost everyday at school. Cartridges lasted a lot!
