Could we please have a look at reviving this Magnificent AC and all the possibilities that come with it?? I have flown it and it is pretty much a stretched C-130.Can we use this AC with specified routes both DVA and DVC?? Is it in the AC listings for filing PIREPS? A good way to fly military/cargo/Delta...don't you think?
See ya up there and LONG LIVE LEGACY AIRCRAFT!!

Michael,
Do you mean the L-10 Electra? If so, please contact Andrew Dalrymple who has a huge file on the topic with the intention of publishing an operating manual, incorporating legacy flights in the schedule and getting a model in the fleet. Andrew could benefit from your learning and interests.
Thanks,
Terry

He's talking about the L-100, the civilianized version of the C-130 Hercules. Delta flew them on air cargo routes for a few years.

The L-100 is in the Fleet Library and is available as a rating. Beyond that, it is up to Matt to decide the specifics.
Cheers!

In the current Promotions Guide the L-100 was lumped into the DC-6 program. I'm contemplating moving itelsewhere, as it's the only plane in the group not powered by a turboprop. I came up with a schedule for the L-100 based on the real DAL timetables of the time, were those flights ever added? If not, I still have the originals to be published.

CORRECTION - The L-100 was the only NON RADIAL powered in the program. Phone rang.
