A good practice to get into when doing the re-install is to do a complete uninstall, including deleting the FS9 folders and the FS folders and files in the Settings And Documents folder. Then go ahead with the reinstall. It is a bit of work, but well worth it because you will be getting a clean install. And, yes, you will have to reinstall all of your addons. But look at it this way, you will probably have a good idea of what you want to keep, and what you probably have decided to dump. It's a good idea to also make a backup copy of all of your addons, particularly the payware ones. Make sure you grab all of the licenses and keys. Copy all of those onto a CD(s), or out to another hard drvie if that is available. This is in case you have to reformat your hard drive. All that software will be in a place you know you can get to.
