Hi,
I'm having problems with the 757-200 in the livery. Some of the control surfaces don't seem to work such as the flaps, and the speed brakes. I hear the announcement for the flap change, but when I go into spot view they aren't there. Also, when I extend the speedbrake it doesn't show, and I don't slow down. Additionally, when trying to take off I get a flaps warning no matter what flaps setting I'm using!! Once I'm off the ground the warning stops but DANG it is annoying!
If I can't get these problems fixed, Can I move to the 767 program instead. That aircraft does appear to be working fine.
Thanks,
John

Read the panel manual that comes with the installer.

Hi Matt,
Thanks for the reply. I'd be happy to read the panel manual if I could find the thing. It's not in the aircraft directory of the 757 in fs2004. I've looked everywhere that I can for the panel manual, I've even posted here a few times asking where to find it but so far, the only manual that I've been able to find is the 757 operations manual in the Fleet Library. If you have the panel manual, would you be so kind as to email it to me?
The problems that I listed in my post seem like they will not be found in the manual. Unless the manual says "Flaps don't actually move, and the speed brake will not slow down the plane..." But again, I have yet to find the manual so I can't swear to that.
Thanks again for the reply.
John

I found the problem. I was using the 'Spirit" model 757 that comes with the fleet installer. The flaps and speed brakes are inop on this model. I changed to the delta 757 - NC and I've got the flaps back again.

The 757 and 767 are in the same program so, you can use either.
