I am using the CH yoke and PRO rudder pedals and love the CH products. For the throttles I use the Go Flight Console.
On my other computer I use the Logitech Wingman Strike Force 3D (force feedback) and enjoy it as well. The force feed back is something I can use or do without. So I have the yaw, roll, and pitch, as well as the built in throttle.
I definetaly prefer the yoke and pedals over the joystick as I fly Boeings and McDonnell's mostly, however if I was to fly the Airbus and or fighters, the joystick would be preferable.
I find that I value most, the ability to use the pitch, roll, and yaw for so much better control on take offs and landings.
So with the yoke you need the pedals for yaw. With the joystick, you also get the yaw and throttle, and have some $ for other stuff. FS Navigator or FSUIPC or payware aircraft etc..
Either way you will have fun.
