So here's a problem I've had for years, and I think with more than one FS, but it could have just been FS2k4. As you fly a long flight, Flight Sim slips behind time, i.e. it takes more than a minute for a virtual minute to pass. You'll have left with your system clock and your FS clocked synched and four hours later they'll be 30 minutes off, with the FS clock slower. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone know of a solution or fix or is it merely hardware based? Possibly the system is just running the sim slower because of lack of power? (system in question is a 3.2 ghz P4 with 1gb Ram, but only 64 mb FxGo 5200 graphics).

Geoffrey don't worry it happens with everyone, Grant perhaps your computer is just extremely powerful.
Geoffrey, basically it is that the FS internal clock is being slowed down, how much it is slown down by is different for each person and plane. If you are in say the PMDG 747 or LDS 767 it will get slowed down more than if you are in say the Default 737 or PSS A340. Also as you said it is different for each system, for some people its 10 seconds every hour, for others its 10 minutes every hour, others see almost no lag at all since its like 0.1 seconds per hour for me with the PMDG 744 i know i will lose about 15 minutes on a 14 hour flights, for others they lose around a second, to find out how much it affects you just see how long the clock in the plane takes to go through a minute compared to the real one and you can compare it with different addons.
I use this addon to keep my FS to real world time
http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=62772
Free for i think around 20mins, but at i think $5 its a good buy
If you run FS Passengers it will not fix that lag you encounter it will just keep your FS to the correct time, and for Grant keep it in the correct time for the respective Time Zone.
