Hi Taj, welcome to DVA!
DVA doesn't really go by hours for rank or promotions, and in that respect we're kind of unique. We count your flights, not your hours; a short hop counts as much as a trans-oceanic haul, because each one's got one takeoff and one landing (we hope!). And you gain higher rank, and can move into higher programs, by passing written tests and checkrides. The "legacy hours" is just there to show that you've had prior VA experience; you're placed in your initial program based on how you did on the initial questionnaire.
You'll get your DVA number after you fly your first flight--just pick one from the schedule and fly it in your B737--and then PIREP it.
