I just got Ultimate Traffic and World Airports 2 for Christmas. When I installed Ultimate Traffic, my FS2004 ran fine, like it usually does. But when I installed World Airports 2, my frame rates are terrible! I can't take off or land when they are that bad. I have a relatively new computer also. Only about a year old, and i just got it fixed and updated by proffessionals right before the holidays. What can i do to get the frame rates back to normal again, I really want to try this thing out!

I take a bad hit at Manchester, Glasgow, and Paris. The first two are aftermarket third-party packs and Paris is just FS2K2. When I used to fly to Munich on a regular basis I had the demo of SimFlyers installed, but that was the worst. I've since uninstalled it and won't even buy it because of the frame hit I have to put up with. They did a really good job on the scenery, but it's a killer on frame rate.
More RAM, faster HD, and better video card is what I would recommend. Not knowing what you already have though, my recommendation is rather vague.
I hope to be able to afford a system in the near future for which I won't have to worry about what aircraft, scenery, or other add-ons I can install without dragging my system to it's knees.
