Regarding the 'Find a flight' feature...even though its connected to innovata its missing a lot of flights...at least with international carriers. I'm at GDL Guadalajara Mexico right now and I wanted to fly GDL-MEX, or GDL-PHX, and these are not on the Delta VA 'Find a flight' database; yet they're in the real, delta airlines timetable.
If I flew these flights, would a pirep count? They're are many, many flights out of GDL via AeroMexico, but on the DVA 'Find a flight', the only destinations listed are LAX, LAS, ONT, ATL. With that being said...if I flew GDL-MEX or GDL-PHX (which is on the real delta airlines desktop timetable)...would my pirep be approved or voided?
thanks

If it isn't in the DVA schedule, chances are it would be held and you would be asked where you found the flight information. If the flight isn't in the DVA schedule from innovata, there is a high probability it would be rejected, unless there was some error on our part.
If you see a flight outside of DVA's schedule that isn't in the schedule, I suggest emailing the staff - preferably Terry, Luke, David, Matt Creed or myself - who will look into the matter for you.

The current Innovata load is notoriously bad with codeshares. I am working on a different format that might resolve the issue, but we're not at a point where we're ready to put it into production.
Since this is a codeshare, I'd put the Delta flight number in the remarks and let's see what happens.
Cheers!

Thanks guys...yeah the Innovata is right on with the delta schedules, at least from my experiences...but all the codeshares are not that accurate.
I will probably fly GDL-MEX then...I wanted to do some AeroMexico flights since I havent flown the airline/or country of Mexico that much.
take care ~

I accully myself use Delta's Site www.delta.com with confermation from 1-800-325-1999 (delta's number) But If I dont know where to fly I use the Find a Flight Feature, But since I like to do Real World time including weather delays, gate holds etc... I get Gate Assignments, Aircraft Information, Load's for the flight and Departure Information

Brian, you can also check the Delta online schedule as a backup for any PIREPs that might be suspect for holding. I always check that schedule as last resort when I am processing PIREPs. But as mentioned in NOTAM #5, DO NOT use the desktop or PDF download schedule. Those can be out of date. Also, one more thing for everyone, please file your PIREP as soon as possible. Don't sit PIREPs and submit them a few days later. Your flight may haver been removed from the schedule by then.

Hi you can also use the Delta worldwide scedule download, and the skyteam download,I´ve used both in the past, the only time I´had a pirep voided ,is when I fly a plane I´m not rated in ,And take Daniels advise
file the pireps as soon as possible (me ,I´m sitting on a lot of unfiled flights , and after reading this thread , I´m just probably going to file, just the more current ones)...
