Great program, teaches you how to fly the aircraft by hand, navigation, learning pitch, power, trim. (that was drilled into me by the instructor), that little phrase has helped me tremendously.
Check it out. Great people and a ton of fun.
Good luck.

Hi Joe - the Flight Academy PPL course is, as Jim correctly stated, a place where you learn how to fly and navigate. You get to fly with an instructor, who is a real world pilot, who shares the cockpit with you while you communicate via 2-way voice. It is a great environment to learn in - the flight lessons are non-test environment - they are learning flights and the instructor teaches you everything you need to know. If you know quite a bit, that's great - if you don't, that's fine too.
You will need FS2004, preferably a high speed internet connection and a headset/microphone to be able to participate in the lessons.
One more important thing - the Private Pilot course is *voluntary* - it is NOT required.
