Hi all...
I'm a new pilot to DVA, and was accepted into the CRJ program...
Problem is this:
I downloaded the CRJ package from the fleet downloads, and took the 200 out for a test ride. While testing it out (it has a panel that I am unfamiliar with...I have the SKY DECKS payware panel in my "other" CRJ), I hit "SHIFT+5" to see what would show and the screen went dark, hanging FS, and causing me minor grief. I re-booted, took it out for another spin, and hit the "RWY INFO" button on the panel (because I was curious) what it would do...*poof*! it froze FS (this time screen did not go dark)....
Needless to say, I was a bit miffed, and harbored thoughts of tossing my innocent computer out the window, but instead I installed the SKY DECKS panel in the DVA CRJ and now it's all systems go! Not a single problem (other than I no longer get those neat wing views that I had in the stock panel...anyone know how I can put these in my SKY DECKS panel?) to be had...
Any suggestions? I would love to sxplore flying with BOTH panels, and I like the head-up display, wing views, and a few of the other add-ons that are in the stock panel, but it fails to work in either the 200 or the 700 (which I've never flown).
Okay, enough rambling for now...hope to get in my first few legs tomorrow...
See you in the air!
