I downloaded the ATR but say "No supported versions of Flight Simulator were detected". Do I have to go out and buy FS2004???

IIRC all the aircraft in our fleet library should be FS2004 compatible. So far all the ones I've tried have worked just fine with my 2004.

All of our fleet will work with FS2004, although there are one or two obscure aircraft (the Comet 1 comes to mind) that might be a little quirky with FS9. FS2002 support is a little more patchy.
We need to focus our efforts on developing installers for the majority of our membership, and therefore we target FS9, support FS2002 where we can, and unfortunately FS2000 and FS98 are no longer supported in the Library. We do, however, support our pilots who use these packages and download aircraft and panels from AVSIM or FlightSim.com. You are not obligated to use the Fleet Library aircraft.
Some Fleet Installers (the MD-11 and L-1011) have the beginnings of FSX support. Our goal is to support FSX before November rolls around for the entire fleet.
Cheers!

Marcus, get yourself an account at flightsim.com and avsim.com (at least; there are other places, but those are the best). It's free to register there. They have an EXTENSIVE collection of files of all types for simulators from FS5-FS9.

yeah, "extensive" is an understatement - if you can't find it on AVSIM, you didn't look hard enough
