Here is what my new computer is going to be running:
Motherboard:
ASUS P5N32-SLI SE Deluxe Socket NVIDIA nForce 4 SLI X16 ATX Intel Motherboard
Video Card:
Nvidia GeForce 7950 GT 512 MB GDDR3 PCI Express x16
Processor:
Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 Conroe 2.4 GHZ
Memory:
1 GB DDR2 800 Ram
Hard Drive:
80 GB-For Computer
250 GB-For Games, etc..
Case:
LIAN LI
Of course got the power supply and speakers, etc.. just left that out.
How do you think the frames will be for FS9 and how do you think it would run FSX(even though I'm not ready to switch.)?

Looks nice!
I'd just wait for the DX10 cards to come out, and either get a GeForce 8800, or buy that 7950GT you want but at a lower price since prices might drop in DX9 cards.
Howerver, those specs you posted could run FS9 really nice, with smooth frames.

I think you should put another stick of RAM in there. FSX is a RAM HOG. 1GB may be a stretch.
Nice case choice by the way ... Lian Li have great cases.
Good luck ... apart from the RAM you've done great and should be fine running FSX.

Yeah, I have almost the identical system, but I have 2 gigs of ram and the 7900gt, I get about 70fps in FS9 in flight, 15-25 in the VC at busy airports and only around 15 fps in FSX, but I hope with the release of DX10 and compatible cards that FSX will start to run much more smoothly.
Nice setup.

yeah, I'd go with 2MB of RAM and go with a cheaper video card if you gotta have it now, because DX10 will come out soon and you'll need to upgrade to take advantage of it. we're in a lull period where it's a waste to buy anything. I know that's a bummer with christmas around the corner and all, but the Quad coming out will make things cheaper. Vista's arrival will signal DX10 and those will be expensive at first...

also, if you're going SLI, you don't need "as powerful" of video cards... but you DO need a BIG power supply! Antec makes a nice 650, but check and make sure that's enough watts for what you need.
