Is the error message a SB3 error message or a fs9 error message? It also might be that if you don't file a flight plan within a few minutes of appearing on the ramp, ATC might try to contact you regarding your intentions. If no response, they might bump you off VATSIM. If the error is a Windows error message, you might have an issue with your dialup connection. If not, it might be VATSIM.
