My FS2004 crashes by stopping about every other flight which is really maddening. It doesn't seem to matter what is going on. I usually fly with FSNavigator and occassionally with ACARS but it will do the same thing with the FS GPS. I'm afaid to fly online until I can find the problem. My system runs Win XP witha 2.0 Ghz AMD processor, 1 Ghz ram memory, and 256 mb Video ram. Does anyone have a suggestion about what might me causing these crashes. Could it possibly be the lightweight 256 mb video ram?
I eventually want to upgrade the system for FSX but would like to wait till better hardware and Vista is available. As I understand it, MS recommends a 3 ghz processor, 2-3 Ghz of ram memory, and 512 mb of video ram. From what I read FSX does not support dual core processor so I'm not sure what to do here.
