Hey again guys, just got FS Passengers, it's amazing! :D. Just one question.....i have started my new airline on their and put myself down as the pilot. But, i can't fly any jets, only like cessnas. It says i am not qualified, is there any way of bypassing the need for like 400 points and 100 hours (or whateva it is) ???

When you created your company you had a choice of scenarios. You should have picked the international company scenario to fly any jet you want. Be aware that you will have to buy the plane you want to fly so you'll be restricted to just one or two planes for awhile until your airline makes more money.

well J.T, fs passengers is a program, that runs within fs. with this you can start your own virtual airline company. each flight, you have to load passengers, fuel food etc, and all the way through the flight you can see, in a little blue box, how happy your passengers are. so for example, if i dont feed them of give them a movie, they get bored + hungry and therefore i get bad feedback. if u start diving towards the ground, passenger fear rises and u hear screams. if you lower flaps at too high a speed, u hear a crashing noise of your flaps breaking. you can s imulate flying over dangerous territory where failures like gunfire to an engine are increased. ermm you ca soo much! look out for screen shots, even google it

Alex you might have to manually enter the location of your directory.
I don't fly without FSpax. once you fly with it the first few times and learn it then its like you feel very bored and theres no point to simming when FSpax isn't running.

I just got this program. It seems great but one problem. I broke the flaps on my first flight. Now ANY flight I try to do the flaps don't work. Even with FSPax uninstalled the flaps are broken. I uninstalled the DVA CRJ files and reinstalled, flaps are still broken. Anyone know of another .cfg file FSPax edits that I can change back to the way it was?

Well it appears the flaps work now on all my CRJ planes. It just gives the sound that they are broken and the indicator is purple. But a visual look at the plane shows they are moving. I'd like to get the regular sound back but I'll deal.

Sorry to bring this thread back to life, but I didn't want to start a new thread and be directed to this one. I just have a quick question regarding FSPax. If we are flying a flight and FSPax throws an emergency at us (IE: Cracked Window) and we are forced to make an emergency landing at an airport other then our destination, can we pirep the flight and have it approved? Heres an example of what I am asking. I flew a test flight earlier this evening from SFO-LAX. I had a window crack on me and I was forced to make an emergency landing at SJC. If this had been a real DVA flight that i had been flying on ACARS and i had to end it due to the emergency would I be able to still file a valid pirep for it, if i noted in the remarks section? Reason I'm asking is that there is nothing worst then having a failure occur midway through your flight and having to have "wasted" an hour of flight time, it would be quite frustrating. Thanks in advance

The greatest thing about FSPAX is . I think . the accountability for lousy flying technique , when you dont fly well you dont get good results for your Airline and pilot , but more imprtantly you frequently end up with a problem occuring to your Airplane, like a non functioning flaps, because of your lousy flying , which makes the stakes much higher and more realistic.

FS Passenger is really an awesome addon. I installed it three days ago and boy tell you its really amazing. It takes online flying to whole new level. There is no room for mistakes.
I am trying to create 737-800 fleet airline and then move on to other aircrafts. I have only one 737-800 now and 2 flights to my credit. I am going to buy full version....

I had a bird strike one time.. It did penalize me a little for not making it to my destination but the bonus points that I got for dealing with the emergency in a heavy loaded plane was well worth it..

Fathi, I am not sure how FSPax uses the file, but it is an available opton for the program.
Mike, thanks. I didn't think that we had one, but just wanted to be sure.
But really, like Fathi asked, what does the VA file do in FSPax anway??

Unfortunately, FSPax does not work in FSX. If it did, I would probably have it by not. They ARE working on FS Passengers "X" for FSX though.

I only have a 737-800. I dont do long flights though. Is it good for your company to have more than one plane?

I'm thinking about adding FSPassengers. But, I have a question about this "emergency" thing. Is it possible to fly FSP without having a bird strike, or other emergency situations?

Yeah you have to go into the config.cfg and change the Fixed Failure to 1 and Easy...So it will rarely happen however I don't think you can take it off completely..

I died last night because my Level-D did not PAUSE AT TOD! LOL
Woke up to see my plane stuck in the ground in the vicinity of Paris. Was still able to peek inside at the flight deck and see the fuel equaled ZERO!
Needless to say that flight will NOT get pirepped! Its funny in hindsight, and I actually slept a little longer than planned due to being a little sick at the moment. May try another one this evening. (NAT)

My Delta Airlines have mainly CRJ's... 2 757's.....2 767-400's....1 767-300....3 737-800's....1 737-300...5 ERJ-145's....2 MD-88's and 1 MD-90....pretty small and still some change left...i can't remember the site that made FsP Scenarios because I got the Around the World Scenario where you start out with 1 Billion Dollars which I think is more realistic as we are a Major Carrier but you'll be suprise how easy the money diminishes after buying our fleet especially payware! ALL PAYWARE FOR ME....
