Hey guyss, my first post. I have the CH products throttle quadrant, every time i try to use them seperate, they are not even. EX. if i set them middle two throttles for engine 1 and 2, and put the throttles to idle, engine 1 is idle but engine 2 is 50%n1. i tried to calibrate and reconnect and no go. Its frustrating since i paid like 350 for the entire set, for rudder yoke and throttles. Another thing, what do YOU guys use the switches on the Throttle for? and suggestions? Thanks - Tom

I recently enabled the throttle, yoke and pedal inputs via FSUIPC only (i.e. disabled the joystick in FS). This seems to have helped out with a myriad of problems I'd been having with the controls. Basically, FS would interpret a command *and* FSUIPC would interpret the command, this would "confuse" the model and result in some strange control behavior. So, but only allowing FSUIPC to control movements, you can get much more out of your FS hardware. The FSUIPC site has more information as well as ch-hanger.com (I think).
Good luck,

FSUIPC is the way to go. Like Trevor, I had hardware conflicts with programming while both were seeing the controllers.
I removed the CH programming software from my system and use only FSUIPC. The only controls used on my CH yoke is the X and Y axis. The rest is programmed to a different controller.

Tom,
CH makes great stuff, I'm sure if you follow through with FSUIPC you will get things working precisely the way you want them to. I too had problems recently with a CH Yoke and was able to fiix things easily with FSUIPC.

The .pdf users manual is a good place to start. It's in the same zip folder that contains the .dll.

ok i figured it out but i now have another little issue. I want to use a seperate axis for reverse thrust. I know how to set it up, except when i do, the throttle axis reverser (the one that is not for seperate, but regular throttle) is active and it messes up/ interferes with the seperate reverser axis, my question is how can i disable the regular throttle reverser? ther is no option in there ( im talking bout the menu where u calibrate the throttle for idle reverse and max) thanks guys, i appreciate the help

Tom, I think that you can configure this using FSUIPC and calibrating the throttles normally. Just use the detent as the idle position and it should take care of the rest (I think).
If you run into any problems, try this thread: http://www.ch-hangar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=3663

You'll need to make sure the values for the reverse function are below that of the idle stops of your throttle. That will keep the reversers from engaging.

Yea but see, i tend to pull the throttles back a little too fast. And so ultimately that makes the engines to go into a Low power reverse. Is their anway to disabel this reverse function?
