My 767 keeps making a fuss when I attempt the following:
-engine start
-APU start
When parked at the gate with sufficient air pressurization and packs both turned off (isolation switches on), and operating the engine start switch nr. 2 to position Ground, the fan and after-fan would accelerate in the normal way. However, when at approximately 45 or 48 percent, the engine power comes to a standstill and the engine would not start. The solution: Reloading the aircraft. Why?
Is this something LDS should know about?
It only happened recently, after I installed the Portland scenery. Never had any such problems with LDS's otherwise excellent software before. Any ideas as to what's happening to my sweet baby?

This is kind of interesting, as I had the exact same issue after reinstalling FS last night. I'd never had an issue until then, reinstalled, first flight this happened. I was too frustrated to try anything at the moment so I just quit.
If I remember correctly, something like this was an issue with the plane that was fixed in one of the updates. That said, I can't understand why I or you would have had the issue.

The only aircraft start up problems I have had have been with the PSS 757. Intermittently it will not start. I have to leave FS, reboot my system, then restart FS and the 757. It then works. Go figure...

That's actually making me think twice about it Mike! I have no clue why the 67 is making such problems, I will ask the Level D staff on the Avsim forums

Wel wait wait wait. Did you take off the paywere before reinstalling the flight sim. That may be the problem becasue the pay ware were in the original FS9 folder and now may be getting confuesd becuase you reinstallt the FS9 over them and they do not know whu=ich file they are suposed to be in since the other fs9 they were originally installed into. YOu may need to just reinstall the level-D to fix it.
