The short answer is "no". When you connect online all AI ATC and traffic are disabled. If you are online and there are no controllers for you then you will have to look at the winds to determine your departure runway. A few things to consider are the "normal" operations for the particular airport you are departing from. Normal ops at Atlanta are west. So even with a slight (5 kts or less) tailwind you would be using the standard runway direction. In this case that would be 26L or 27R, depending on where your destination is. At O'Hare they throw in a few more runways. Standard ops there are west. So you could use the 27's, 22L or 32L for standard departures. Again, the direction of your departure would impact which one they throw you on. At SFO you can plan to depart on the 01's because they use the 28's for arrivals. But that doesn't mean you can't use either 28 for departure, especially if you are a heavy going westbound. One of in-house controllers can provide you with most answers at their airports. Just be flexible when at an airport when ATC is not online. You will likely find most anything. If someone else is there, ask them.
