Do you get the "send error report" dialog? Are there any common denominators with the crashes (ie same aircraft, time of day)? What addons, if any, are you using when this happens? We can't help you if you don't give us some information to work with.

If it gives no error message, make sure your drivers are up to date. Usually video cards cause that. Just be sure to follow any instructions when updating drivers because they can cause MONSTER headaches if you don't follow them ( experience not following them here )

Ya this happens some times to me also is just shuts down for no reaon. This could be from one or two things your graphics card is getting to hot or over used at one time, or it is that your comuter shust it down for some reason.

well, last night it happened in PMDG's 737 and it has happened in a PSS 757. Both times were in the air. Should I use the NVIDIA.com's drivers or is their a 3rd party source? (such as OMEGA for ATI)

Hi Tom,
That can be very frustrating.I have a similar problem when i fly from or near KMCO Orlando. It shuts down.I found a solution.
When I set the weather to summer it's ok.Can not fly in the other seasons near KMCO. It's worth a try.
In my case I assume its a scenery issue that I may have installed in the past.
Good Luck,
Bob
