Ok i just joined last ngith and flew my first flight today. Now thw questions are:
When i pick a flight, do i have to wait for it to be approved, I didnt this time, but will if i have to for next time.
Next after flight do i need to come back here and do anything to do with after the flight is finished.
Also since i cannot work at the moment, I will be flying around the clock most of the time, I would like to get some planes skins for my planes, But i have FSX, and am using the default planes until somethign better is released with a FMS that works. I fly the CJR 700 for now, nly one i got availible i reconize from the list im approved to fly. I did download the DC3 and the CRJ 200 from the site, but do not work with FSX.
thanks for letting me join, hope to be a good pilot..OH yeah how can i change on SERVinfo to show im flying for DV..
Thanks for any information, time to go fly back..

Welcome to DVA! No, you don't have to wait for any approval to fly the flight. The only rules are that 1- you are rated to fly the aircraft and 2- the aircraft has the range for the flight. If you use ACARS you can file the PIREP through it. You cn also file it manually in the pilot center. I dont know anything about FSX, sorry.

I'm curious Billy, well now that I think about it I"m not haha. I was going to ask what fuel specs did you put into ACARS for your flights with the CRJ-700 but it looks like you didn't use ACARS. So now I'm wondering how to convert gallons to pounds so that I can put the specs into the .ini file for ACARS fuel simulation. Anyone out there with info on the 700 would be great. I have the 200 info but it appears to be a much different plane.

Yes I been useing the flights listed on here. I got to get going to get upgrade for bigger planes. The funny thing is i never flew a short trip, could be why i suck, but i just jumped in and started flyng in and out of PANC from KTVY here in utah. and then all over from there. One of these days i might actually take off and land in a TC controlled airport, been avoiding that. But im working on it. Have a good one

Khary,
This site is for the G-BAPY, but converts Gallons (both imperial and US or LITREs to LBS) just the same:
http://www.dmjwilliams.co.uk/gbapy_weight_balance.htm
It lists outer left/outer right/inner left and inner right tanks, and you can adjust as required (based on if you have 1, 2, 3 or 4
engines). Just put in your numbers and press CALCULATE - and there you have it.
Andy
No need to put in the Fuel Burn rate - it won't affect the total fuel weight figure that you get. Hope that helps.

Billy, if I could offer you a suggestion? Sign up for the private pilot licence (PPL) course in the flight academy. I am waiting for my rudder pedals, then I plan to avail myself of this wonderful opportunity. We have some top-notch instructors who will give you a good framework for your career here. Do you have any idea what this costs in the real world? I've been here for quite some time now and consider myself a pretty good pilot. But there are some things I want learn and perfect. So I plan to learn them from the pros. This will help you with your comfort level.

Servinfo only show the pilots and Atc flying online on Vatsim using Squawk box 3 or Fsinn.I think Fsinn works for Fsx but I never tried it.

I too am flying the FSX with FSInn.. works great and should get you up and running online in no time. You can get a Delta connection repaint for the CRJ-700 if you have not done so already (both on AVSIM and FLIGHTSIM.COM)
