Well it seems my problems just keep getting worse. I fixed the water problems I was having( I gave up and took it all out and put it all back in) but im still having graphics problems. I should have taken a pic, but ill do that later on.
Anyway. Now my problem is that im gettng garbage for frames. Before I had all my problems, I was getting great fps. Solid at 21. Now that I un-installed fs then put some of it back, it seems my frames are garbage. It bounces all over the place and stutters alot. I've tried updating my graphics drivers but that didnt change anything. Im really at a loss and very frusterated.
Now i konw its not my memory because ive got almost 2 gigs and the only thing on this computer is flight sim.
If anybody can help me, even if they dont really know what the problem is, it would be greatly appreciated. Its almost too bad to even fly now its so frusterating.
Thanks

What type of video card & CPU do you run?
Also, the more things your running in the background the less CPU time & power FS will have to make new frames.

Well, from my experience and from what I have heard from other techy people is that Windows gets bogged down and needs a fresh reinstall every once in a while. Personally, I completely wipe out my HDD and reinstall Windows & FS every 6-8 months. I usually see a huge improvement when I do so. You may also want to run a virus & spyware scan. I use these programs on my computer, they are free and work nicely:
http://www.safer-networking.org/ for Spyware scanning
http://www.adawareresource.com/co/adawareresource/?sid= another adware/spyware scanner
http://www.grisoft.com/doc/1/0/0/0 for my anti-virus

Something has obviously changed. Just for grins, you might try running "System Restore" if you have it enabled. I would pick a date several weeks back if it's available and see if that makes a difference. On a side note, investing in a program like Symantec GHOST or Copy Commander may not be a bad idea. After creating a brand new WINDOWS install on a hard drive, you can create a ghost image of the drive. This way if you ever decide you need to reload, just follow the reimaging steps and your drive is back the way it was before you gooped it up. They are very handy tools and well worth the money. You can even create multiple images.. IE.. OS only...OS and FS... OS..FS..and all your addons.

I fought problems for several weeks. I decided that I probably needed to wipe the hard drive. However as a last resort I decided to try uninstalling all sim programs and going to the folders and manually deleting any thing that pertained to the sim. After reinstalling everything including the FSINN stuff, all is working great. Of course I had to go through all and adjust things like sounds and settings. Righ now my sim is the best it has ever been. My frame rates are locked at 20. They stay at about 19.8 with a big drop around KCVG because of the add on I have for that airport. All of this was done with a defrag after uninstalling and reinstalling each program. The computer said I didn't need the defrag, but I did it anyway.

Hope this helps.
It sounds like your system has hit a bottleneck somewhere.
If you're running Windows XP Pro, then try running perfmon (Administrative Tools --> Performance) Add a counter under process (choose FS9.exe) Look at the following:
Processor Time (Should be very high, around 100%), this indicates if FS is given the amount of processor time it needs, or if its competing with something else.
Also, use the counters to check your disk IO. Check both the disk IO for the process, and for the disk as a whole.
Did you use Window's defragger? If so, try this one:
http://www.disktrix.com/ultimatedefrag/
It comes with a 30 day trial. Chose to use folder/file name defragging. In addition to defragging, it will arrange your files in the order in which they're used. this substantially reduces the hard drive seek time. Simply doing a reinstall may not arrange the files properly.
