Hey guys,
I'm having a problem with the rudder (Z axis), it seems stuck. I have tried calibrating it many times, but it won't change.
It's pretty hard to land and taxi with the plane wanting to move to the side all the time.
Suggestions appreciated, thank you.

Do you have a registered copy of fsuipc? Try calibrating it through that and see if you get the same results.

No, I don't, Larry. I use the FSUIPC provided with DVA ACARS. Also, I forgot to add, in the picture shown I wasn't touching the joystick.

The same thing happens to me and my Saitek X-52. They included a little utility that allows me to control the deadzone for a particular axis but it's annoying and its something that has never happened before. Maybe its a sign that your joystick is on its last leg.

Well I certainly hope it's just a glitch or simple problem of some kind. Anybody know of some kind of program that could help me?

One thing you might check is the Logitech website and see if there are any updated drivers for the stick. The only other thing I can think of is try and clean the Z-axis pots with compressed air, see if there's something in there keeping it from centering properly. If nothing works, then it could very well be the centering springs have given up the ghost, or the pot itself is going bad.

Thanks guys.
Barry I seriously doubt there is something in there, the bottom part is sealed with screws and whatnot and where the stick connects it's covered in rubber. But I'll try the compressed air cleaning.
Matt, no I don't.
