all of a sudden the dva website is like being on dial up. I have opened a port for dva but acars says authentication timed out and won't log on. This only happens on my home computer. all other websites work fine. On my work computer it is ok. any help would be great.

I have no problems with them and I on a corporate network.
Your home computer could be:
a. Infected by malicious worms/software
b. Winsock file could be corrupted because of a.
c. TCP/IP protocol could be corrupted because of a.
d. A Software firewall is doing extra filtering of packages.
That's all I can come up with.
Cheers!

Could be your ISP too. Could be the neighborhood that you live in.
When it comes to the speed of your internet the sheer amount of variables that determine how fast/slow you load a website is mind boggling.

ok I got a new computer and the problem remains. Should I now be concerned about the ISP provider or my IP protocol?
