Ok... i was flying in the CRJ last week and when i tried to takeoff, it didn't rotate. I have to turn it on flaps 40 and then after it finally got off the ground pull all the way back on the stick and then lower the flaps back to 8. Can anyone tell me whats going on?! i tried to reinstall the aircraft and did the fix but it didn't work. Just wondering if anyone has the same problem and howo fix it!
Cheers!

Did you trim the plane correctly for T/O?

Check your weight and payload, usually the biggest problem. The default setting overloads the aircraft and you have to adjust it.

Keith is right, the CRJ is extremely picky about the wait. Even with the weight, trim, flaps, and full thrust, I usally eat up the whole runway before it will take to the air.

There was a discussion about this same problem awhile ago. Basically other pilots stated that the trim must be set nose up before takeoff. I had this problem too and then I set the trim and it took off just fine. 40 flaps eh? Cool best of Luck!

both erj and crj are very stubborn with trim, weight, etc. the erj will scream at you until you adjust it and the crj will just keep rolling until it's good and ready for rotating. also, check the payload. i think the guys basically nailed it. have fun flying.

I once emailed the the chief pilot the same question because I had the same problem. The answer is less fuel (if necessary), but mostly you need to reduce the payload in the FS "create a flight" menu. I reduce all of the weight limits to 100. I still take up a whole bunch of runway though, but at least I take off!
