I have a question about the Radios, GPS, and flaps on the 767 Delta provides.
Whenever I start the aircraft, my Radios and GPS are off, and they won't come on.
Also, my flaps won't go down SOMETIMES. Sometimes they do, and other times when I try to set my flaps they just stay in the up position. It happens like every other time I load up the 767.
I'm using the panel provided by Lonny Payne btw.
If anyone has any info on this that would be great!

Try a reinstall, I do not have these problems with the fleet installer.

Hmm, no luck. Is there an avionics switch or something that I may have missed? I read the Panel manual, but it never really said anything about the Radio or GPS.
Or maybe I'm doing something else wrong? Is there an exact order or a checklist that I need to follow?
The flaps seem to work, but the radios still don't.

Are you turning on the INS? It's the three switches above the yaw damper on the overhead. Give it 30 seconds.
Cheers!

You mean IRS? Hehe
Yes I am.
And I got the radios to work after doing some random clicking around the main panel display. Its either that, or I just have to wait a few minutes after battery or engine start for them to turn on?

Turn on the APU before you start. You should get your power from there.

Hmm, still no luck! I know I must be doing something wrong. If anyone had the time, it would be great if you could post an order that you set the 767 up or a few screen shots or something. =/
I'm trying to get it to work but no luck.
When you guys start everything up, does your radio go on right away or do you wait a few seconds/minutes before it starts?
Mine is still off after engine start. =/ Sometimes it goes on a little after start and other times it doesn't.

Are you starting the A/C Cold and Dark?
And in your reinstall, did you uninstall it first?

Yup. I uninstalled the aircraft. Checked my aircraft folder to make sure it was completely gone and I redownloaded the installer and installed the plane again.
I loaded up the aircraft in cold and dark, start up the batteries followed by standby power, turned on the APU then aligned the IRS and did all the other little things before engine start.
And still no luck. My radios are still off. What I realized is, when I press control + E after engine start, the radios magically turn on. Is there a button that I am overlooking that turns them on or something?

Doubtful, Mark. Have you reviewed the panel docs? I'd also be skeptical about being truly cold and dark; I believe the panel tells FS there's a hydraulic leak if the hyd pumps are shut off completely, so that might have something to do with the flaps not working some of the time.
Cheers!

The issue with certain panels is that there is no "master avionics" switch to flip. Using CTRL+E to start the engines includes turning on the avionics as part of the startup procedure. Without a flippable avionics switch pretty much the only way to get the radios turned on is the autostart. Alternately, load the default Cessna flight, turn off everything EXCEPT the avionics power, and save that as your default flight. Once you do that and load the default once you will always have avionics power available once the battery switch is turned on.

I have a similar problem. After getting all set, while eaiting for FSPax to load the aircraft, the avionics cut themselves off. BAT and APU are on. WHat is that all about? BTW Barry, I tried that solve. no luck. They still cut off after about 3 minutes.
