Hi Folks! I am using a Logitech Wingman (FF) Joytick that I am really very happy with. There is however a sensitivity problem with it that maybe someone has an answer for. On takeoff for example its extremely difficult to keep the aircraft straight on the runway, because the very slightest movement seems to throw me off to left or right. When I pull the stick back, the aircraft seems to jump into the air, instead of lifting smoothly off the ground. The same things happen on approach. I have tried the option in "Flusifix" to reduce the sensitivity of the joystick, which basically works, except for one thing; When I pull the stick back, the aircraft won't leave the ground. My question therefore is: Is it possible to more accurately adjust the joytick without going to one or the other extreme? Wold be thanksful for any input on this one. Regards,Paul Kennedy

Hello Mr. Kennedy,
I experienced a similar situation back in April. I contacted Logitech regarding the problem. Below is their reply. Pehaps this will help you.

After contacting Logitech regarding my problem, I learned that the problem exist in the Twist Control of the joystick. Logitech provided a file for downloading used to repair the Twist Control situation. It worked. Everything works fine. Below is the file from Logitech. I hope this information will help someone else who might experience the same problem.

Logitech Response:
Dear Bervick,
Thank you for contacting Logitech Online Support, my name is Sukarno, I will be assisting you in your issue.
I understand that your Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick twist control was off center, if this is not correct kindly let me know.
In regards to what you are encountering, I would like you to download a simple utility program that will clear the calibration in your joystick.

Bervick, I am sure that in the US, Logitech may provide good support. However I live in Germany, and have already tried contacting Logitech. The customer support here is really lousy. As far as getting a replacement, I think this was one of the more expensive joysticks, but an older model and the garantee is probably long gone.... Thanks anyway you guys... I may end up just getting another one. Infact I have been interested in a joystick/pedal combination. Maybe I'll go that way.
Regards to all.
