I believe I read something about this awhile back that suggested that their was a bug in FS9 and its audio. I'm hoping I'm not the only pilot who has or is struggling with this, because I need a solution as its about to make me want to get out of my seat, wrap my seat belt around my neck, and throw my self out the window while in flight! Your flying along, and all of the sudden your audio goes ape! It sounds as if its being shoved through an echo chamber, a tree shreader, and a Star Trek style warp hole, all at the same time. Anybody got any ideas? I haven't made any drastic chanages of any kind to my FS9 lately, but all of the sudden its becoming a serious threat to any flight I attempt. Is there a service pack to FS9 I don't know about? Any help or suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Well I have that problem now that I have Vista on my machince, when I move the priority of the application from normal to anything else It buzzs, but FS9 runs better with both cores working on it, instead of just one and normal priority than it did, when I had XP on the machine using, high priority and core 0 working on the application. Not sure if that was any help, but, thats how I fixed mine.

Ryan, tell me more about priority or normal. New to the dual core and want to make sure I am getting everything I can out of this thing.

Well, to me, under vista, the priority and they way threads are handle must be different in Vista. As I said above my frames are about 5 lower, which is not a big deal, when I run the affinity and priorty, on 1 core and high. If you are running, XP i suggest you switch the FS9.exe to affinity of the cpu 0 and put the app to high priority. Then put all other big apps on the other core.
