Orville,
I am sure you are aware of these, but there are several things you can do to help - mind you - I am no expert, but I took some of these actions and greatly increased performance. I first got a good defrag program (Disktrix Ultimate defrag) and have it defrag files in such a way that it places FS files on the outer portion of the HD to boost speed of access. I also run MSCONFIG and have it prevent any of the background programs from starting up at startup. There are some other programs you can get that will do this like "Kill It All" and some others that are specifically designed for FS - just cannot remember their names. If this has just happened the last few times you have flown, something has changed in your settings. Sorry I dont know more about overclocking - I stay away from it, although I saw a new program out there that apparently is designed for FS and to make overclocking and anti-aliasing work better for FS. I also read that if you look in your add-on scenery folder and delete any empty folders this will correct a known memory leak. I also turned down some settings like sight distance and autogen scenery. Hope this helps in some small way.
