two possible solutions
make sure you have the latest free version
change the settings for fraps to what you hear
also uncheck record microphone in the audio control panel (double click your speaker icon next to the clock in the task bar)
hope it helps.

First: I miss read your first post so forgive the misunderstanding
in reply to the last
I can't explain that Eugenio
but just to check on that . If I right click on the file to choose a program to open the file with (the ones I have recored using fraps)
WMP isn't i the list.
the only MS player that is, is media center.
although my Ulead Video studios 7 is too in the list

HI Kyle
ok, the problem with fraps and WMP is a little thing MS put into the mix a while ago called DRM
it's a codec issue in short,
so what I use is creative media source player
it comes with sound audiogy cards, (I hope you have a creative card)
the files that Fraps makes appear to be pirated to WMP because of the way they capture the video
(that is a very simple way of explaining it)
So , if you have creative hardware you should be able to DL the software "Creative Media Source player"
and when you open the video file you created with Fraps ,it will open the creative player.
you may find a codec that will allow the file to be played in WMP ( a patch), but if you want to save yourself
a headache get he creative player.
however
there is Ulead Video Studio 7 ( I own the SE edition I got from CompUSA for like 5 bucks in the bargain bin)
that will work and of course you'll be able to edit and stitch the 30 second clips together
(I'm assuming your using the free fraps ) to make longer videos ..... or clip different views together.
the added bit of advice is be patient with it. is not a quick process.
some guys spend an hours to make a 45 second clip that is after the editing and the file conversion in video editing programs
then uploading it to a web based file share site like photobucket .
This is a quick example
http://s80.photobucket.com/albums/j195/AIRBOATR/Videos/?action=view¤t=757WackedLanding.flv
A 30 sec video AVI (322 mb 1440 x 900)
No editing what so ever
Converted with Ulead Video Studio 7 SE DVD
To a 352x240 x mpeg2 file (5 mb file) which is playable in WMP
Uploaded to photobucket
It took nearly one half hour.
And admittedly it looks crappy watching it in full screen mode
BTW does the landing count as a center line landing?
