I assume you're speaking of the animated jetways in FSX? If so, the most likely answer is that the aircraft you're trying to connect to doesn't have the exits defined in the aircraft.cfg file. You'd have to manually edit that file to tell FSX where the exits are located. Look at one of the default aircraft's aircraft.cfg files under [exits] and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Try reinstalling FSX or reinstalling the planes or both, I'm not 100% sure it'll fix the problem but it's worth trying.

If the gates are working for the defaults, I will assume that means you have advanced animations enabled.
Unfortunately the exit definitions for each type of aircraft will differ. For instance, the exit on a B737-800 isn't located in the same position (referentially) as that on a B757-200. You have to define the location of each exit by tweaking the lateral and longitudinal referents.

I see that you are a CRJ pilot .. CRJ's do not need the jetways because their door is a ladder door. :-P .. It is not common to see small aircraft using the jetways although I have witnessed it. Another thing that is wrong though is the area in which the baggage carrier goes when you open the baggage compartment doors (shift+e+2). Not asking someone to fix it but just informing those who do not yet realize the issue.
Thanks.

I think you have to turn your settings up (graphics) in FSX, just like you would in FS2004. Dont use FSX that much so dont quote me

In FSX only, the jetways will work with the following Delta fleet aircraft. The 737NG, 757, 767, MD88, MD90, and CRJ. The CRJ has the gate stop about fifteen feet to allow for proper use of the airstair door on the aircraft. The Jetways are called with CTRL-J (or user defined). If the gate is not moving ensure that the aircraft is centered on the taxi line and the nose is at or near the end of the taxi line. These aircraft with the exception of the CRJ can also call the baggage cart by using Shift-E 2 to open the the second exit (usually the cargo door) Some aircraft use Shift-E 2 for aircraft ladder. If this is the case the baggage cart will still go to the aircraft with Shift-E 2 however you may need to use Shift E or Shift E-3 to open Cargo doors.

Ronald do you know if those codes will work with FS2004, or is that only when you have a payware version of the airport, I would love to be able to call baggage carts and what not, I am flying the EMB-120, does anybody know of airport codes I could learn with that? Thanks.

Well for FS04 there is a program called AES(Airport Enhancement Service) available at www.aerosoft.com This uses some freeware, but mostly payware scenerys, for example I think all of FlyTampa's scenerys can be used.
