So does it provide the same amount of "cooling" as the stock version you took off? Seems like it'll save a ton of space in the case. You are a brave man for doing that.

Chris, From all the different articles I have read on Water cooling, I should be able to save anywhere from 5-10C on water cooling, depending on the loop configuration Radiator type and flow restriction. for a base line at Idle with the stock cooler I was at 35C, that was on the bench, as soon as I get my SB/NB and Mofset blocks, I will report back with bench readings, The whole system is rated for 1000K of dissipation. I do not plan on pushing everything to the max, just a stable O/C on the unit. Just tired of hearing the constant whine of all the fans I run in my current box.
As far as removing the stock cooler, it is easy as eating a slice of cherry pie, I do not recommend anyone that is not familiar with Computers and hardware to delve into after market cooling solutions unless they are aware of the risks of what happens when you bust a resistor when removing the sink from a 400 dollar card had that happen a year back on a 6600 GT card that was only a 100 dollar set back As far as warranties are concerned, as long as there is no physical damage to the card RMA is good to go
I am keeping a log of the progress on the build, here http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k44/FC5452/SLI%20Build/ If all this works out, I am going to do it for a side income and go official and open a small shop here in my neck of the woods, there are no custom rig dealers in the area, and I have access to alot of suppliers.

From all my problems the past few days, this seems like a viable option for me too. Too bad I am an idiot when it comes to opening up a cpu.

If you embark on a venture like this, read up on the materials you plan on using guys, there are a lot of Modders out there that put the pro's and con's with the equipment you are wanting to buy. As of now i have a Nice chunk of change invested just in the Water blocks, all Top End blocks, around 5 Franklins and some change for it all.
Any hoot, George, if you get this block, go with Arctic Silver 5 and Ceramic for the Ramdac's, the Vreg blocks on that card are to darn small to try paste, so use the thermal pads for those buggers, Put two pea sized dots of silver on the GPU and spread it around, I redid the GPU after curiosity got to me, and saw that one fine film did not make enough surface contact, all is good, and i will be pulling the mofset and N and S bridges off tomorrow and prepping them for there blocks.
I have been waiting 5 years to do a build like this, If it all works out , Hmmm maybe do it for a side business I have been uploading daily on my progress, hopefully by Sunday I will be leak testing for a day or two before firing it up.
PS: if this is a little off topic, I'll stop, just thought I would share a PC story...

3/4's of the way done with this project, Was a little slow going do to the fact of improper mounts, System is filled and running, No Leaks first time out Going to drian down, and Reroute the CPU Line , so the flow is directly over the top of the core, and not coming across it. http://s85.photobucket.com/albums/k44/FC5452/SLI%20Build/

Thanks George,
It may take me a week or two to put one together, I only do this part time, So i try to get it so it is appealing to the eye, and use it for QC purposes.
Just threw in the DVD RW drive, set the Raid up on the Raptors Going to Triple boot this rig with XP, Vista 32 and 64bit. All thats left in the mod is the UV lighting and some minor housecleaning work yet. Going to at least get XP on it to burn it all in.
