Well, after looking in the official page for FS2004, the minimum requirements said something around 8 MB video card and about 128 MB RAM. I have 1 GB RAM and a 256 MB video card. My processor's also a 2.8 GhZ dual-core. However, the graphics refuse to go beyond the absolute lowest settings. As to why this is, I'm completely baffled. I also find no option to raise the resolution beyond what appears to me as 800*600. If this is a common issue and if anybody could tell me how I could get this fixed, that would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Do you have the latest drivers installed? .....almost sounds like your computer is using default Windows drivers to communicate with your card.

Well, I also found out that I can't move ANY of the sliders anywhere. That includes the sensitivities menu.
Also, is there no way to up the resolution?

I've done this several times for plenty of other games. I'm positive my drivers are up to date.
EDIT: Yeah, I just updated my drivers again. To no avail.

Does you graphics card support dual monitors? If it does, FS9 might be thinking it's rendering to the secondary one which by default only supports 800x600 with low everything. Hardware tab of the display settings you should be able to chose your display adapter. A friend of mine had that problem and that was how he fixed it, poor guy spent hours upon hours trying to figure it out too.

Oh, gods. Now that I think of it, you're right, my card does support dual monitors. I'm currently stuck on another computer. When I get access to rig FS9 is installed on, I'll give this a whirl and see what happens. Which display adapter should I use? Should I just cycle and see which one does it for FS?
OK, there's only one driver there. The one I use for remote desktop access and my card's display adapter...What did your friend do from there?

Well as it turns out, some of the tabs and stuff in menus won't show up so I can't do anything such as upping the resolution. Also, none of the sliders will move at all. Be it realism sliders, graphic sliders, etc. They just refuse to move and are locked in place. I tried a reinstall through recommendation from ACARS and got nowhere through that.
