I was wondering if there are any suggested graphic settings, and add on softwares, which do not take away any frames, but also enhances such as improves the look of FS9. Please post something, if you have a idea or know anything concerning my question.
I have no scenery on because it takes away a lot of frames. I would like to have some scenery without any frame loss, the same case with the clouds. If I fly through clouds, it starts loosing on frames dramatically. It is a big issue for people, who have a Laptop and want to experience a well looking environment.

I can't help but notice....and I am sure I am not the first to say something .... but how come you don't choose to file any PIREPs with us? ....just curious. Just want to participate in the forums?
On to your issue...it sounds like, from the way you describe your observations, that your computer is either quite old and/or not very fast. If either are the case, there isn't anything out there that will help you other than buying a newer computer.

well my problem is that I was busy since now. I am only able to do Aviation work on weekends, since I am in a boarding school.
I just rejoined, 2 years ago (when I joined the first time) I was 16 years old. The problem is that I am from Germany and at that time I wasn't too good at the language, neither in Aviation. I am in a boardings school in Georgia, and can't even touch my laptop over the week. I actually officially started this weekend with DVA stuff, although I planned to do that 2 years ago >D>D Anyways, ones I graduated from High-School, which would be this year, I will go to Embry-Riddle to become a Pilot. I will do my first offline flight tomorrow, and really look forward to work hard on Weekends to fly my second flight online next weekend. I will also join Pilot Academy in a view weeks, and till I do that I get to read the FS Encyclopedia. I hope that answers your question, sir.

Thank you, although this is not the right section of asking that, but since I already have company, I was wondering:
How do you put in a SID or STAR chart into your Flight Planner or GPS. Because if I use the FS9 flight planner, it doesn't give me any options of adding a SID from for example KATL. Do I have to guide the line manually, and just have rest of the data by hand if I fly, or how do I do that?

I have Flight Environment 2004 - not sure if you can get "better" frame rates or not, but here is a link on it
http://www.flight1.com/products.asp?product=fe2004
Good thing I look at this too - there is an update I don't have...

With the FS planner select your departure and arrival airports and then GPS Direct. Then you can drag the red line (the flight path) on over to any VOR, intersection, NDB, etc. you'd like to build your flight plan. So, get out your SID/STAR chart and then start hunting for the correct intersections manually.

Flight Environment 2004 that George Lewis recommended is top of the line. You can switch your clouds [frequent cause of stutter and fps loss] from 32bit to DXT3 textures. It is a life saver, even on my power machine. Would not hesitate to buy it again..

Thank you gentlemen for all your information,
I am glad to be back in DVA, you'll help a lot! I look forward to do my first flight today, not online though, because lack of ATC communication skills. I will join Pilot Academy ones I have time to do so. The next 2 weeks I will be busy, but after that I will start working on it.
I look forward to look for Flight Environment 2004, I also saw a new version of Flight Environment. Do you all think that this software is as good as the old one?
Flight Environment 04 will decrease your frame rate.
What do you all prefer, better looking scenery, clouds, or overall Airport complexity?J I prefer Airport complexity my scenery looks horrible.>D

Payware airports really kill the frame rates... if frame rates are in issue, you may want to avoid the these until you get a faster setup.

Not add-on softwares, but the complexity of the Airport in the graphics settings. Would you prefer there the enhancement of the graphic of the clouds, scenery or airport density or compl.?

You may want to try a graphics card update if you can't afford a new computer. Also, welcome back! Hope you achieve some time to come fly with us some more!
And Goerge, if those screenshots on the flight 1 website are real, espeacially the sunset, that I am downloading that.

I would prefer better looking environment as a whole rather than airport ground enhancements. I only sped a little bit of time on the ground and like my flying conditions to look better.
Andre, what kinda computer do you have? Specs?
