AS I stated in "FS Chaos" my FS menu disappears and causes the program to act funny, sometimes causing a CTD. This time I actually got some shots of what happens, have any of you experienced this ever? If so, how did you fix it? I appreciate it.
P.S.- This happens not only with the PSS 757 but with all aircraft.

I've had this happen a few times in the past, but it was usually cased by switching between views in FS or between the desktop and FS to many times. The only solution I know of is to minimize your switching between windows.

Well I had this not that long ago, I reinstalled FS, but I would hope that you don't have to resort to that.

Oh man I hated that problem! It used to happen to me when I installed walk and follow, most likely because I switched views too many times.
Also try not to minimize. Have everything open so when you switch programs it just opens up and doesn't minimize everything.
Thats how I have it, everything is just running in the background and when I click on it, it becomes my active window.
I think I might reinstall Walk and Follow and keep switching to a minimum.

Is your IRS is off? Are you starting with cold and dark cockpit? Are you using the PSS? If you answered yes to any of these, it may be that you don't know how to use the panel properly.

Ricardo the problem is, is that the alt menu bar disappears when you switch view, so therefore, the little black thingy is on the bottom of the screen, Michael when you switch from 2d to VC does the alt menu kinda blink or flash, cause that is what happened to me, and the only fix that I had for that other than reinstall, was to fly in full screen, cause then the alt menu isn't up, the one down side is that your computer might freeze easier if you minimize the window.

For reference, this has nothing to do with PSS, or how to start it.
The problem with the 'alt' menu disappearing was caused by frequent use of switching views. If I did it more than a handful of times my alt menu would disappear and then the next time I would use the alt menu, FS would hang/crash.
The only way I got around this was to use walk and follow which gave me the views I wanted w/o messing up my game.
It is strange though, my new rig has the problems with switching views. I can do it all day long on my other computer.

I don't know about Mr. Cathermen's, but my drivers never effected the end results.
my old computer works fine and my newer computer does not take well to switching views. Both have been reformatted numerous times and PROPERLY installed/uninstalled video drivers.
not sure if our problems are the same, but they seem familiar.

I just fly full screen instead of a minimized window mode because ive heard horror storys. When I fly i just check every 10 mins. I like to surf the web, talk on acars, So with active sky running and SB3 I just alt tab over, becasue normally I have music playing or im watching a movie on my comp and that windowd mode just messes up. Ever since i fly full screen I have no issues ever.

I would probably fly full screen but I get better performance out of windowed mode. It also lets me use two monitors with the extra panels and such on my second screen.

I am going to sound like an idiot but I do not see anything, is this the green bar, in the first and last one all I see is the green bar at the top that might be out of place but thats online right, and in the second one it just looks like a windshield wiper to me? Let me know where to look, if I am missing it.

Since you are in a windowed mode, try click and drag at the bottom of the picture to bring it down. It's just a suggestion but it works for me.
Take care, Clarke
