I flew a flight to SXM the other day just to find out it wasn't in the DVA database. I have flown from ATL to SXM before and got the route from FlightAware. It is a fun route and it should be added since it is a delta route.

Kevin, we update our schedule daily from an outside source. The flight you are speaking of (ATL-SXM) does not operate on a daily basis. Check the schedule daily to see when it is available. If you find it you should fly it that day and file the PIREP right after landing.

Oh wow, must be an Innovata glitch. Kevin, I'd place a issue with the Issue Tracker to the left. Luke responds faster to those
Edit: Dan we posted the same time...lol. I did a find a flight and it didn't come up.

Daniel, so if I fly it on a day that the flight does not operate on, it will not record the flight? Seems kind of strict, I thought we are allowed to fly any route anytime.

The real world flight schedule changes day to day too. It is very dynamic. Some flights only exist on T and TH and etc. I believe there is a codeshare EWR Continental flight into there.

Kevin, I understand your thoughts. But reading Notam #15 applies. If it isn't in the schedule then we can't fly it, even though it has been in the schedule in the past. Flights are added and removed all the time in the real world. This also applies to flights that are operated on a non-daily basis since our schedule is updated daily. However, it doesn't mean that there aren't mistakes within our schedule. Luke does his best to iron them out, but sometimes mistakes slip through. It doesn't hurt to ask.

Kevin, wait till the summer. You can fly SXM-ATL to your hearts content. Delta runs to SXM every day in the summer.

well, that's too bad.... If you look at the links I posted, Delta flew there a week ago.... I love flying into SXM, one of my favorites... since the airline still fly's there, why is it not in the database at all?

Another option is to create a Flight Assignment on the days it is in the schedule. You can then fly it any day/time and get credit for it.

ACARS will validate it when you click on "start flight" look for the green check mark in the lower right hand corner above the chat window. You will get credit for it as long as that check mark is green and your flying an aircraft your rated in.

Nope, not FSX, just plane old FS2004. The scenery I use is FlyTampa St. Maarten. Thanks for the comment.
