Not all of us are lucky enough to have English as a first language, Mr. Reimer.
And Pedro, I once tried plugging the TV to the computer using the S-Video cable, it worked but the graphics were bad. This works if your video card has S-Video and your TV too.
And please drop the caps, no need for them.

First of all, it is no big deal, even if I am the same way; secondly, the answer is yes. However, when you are flying in ACARS, be sure to check the box that say you have a second monitor, if you want to call it that. It is located in the setting tab.
By the way David, I think you mean "Can I attach and use AN LCD TV as another monitor to my computer? (with a question mark)"
You put AN because that is the way you pronounce LCD. Maybe you should reconsider retaking English. lol.

I may be mistaken, but all LCD TV's I've looked at, have a port for the computer built in. Both of my kids have a 19" LCD TV, which doubles as their computer monitor, using a normal LCD monitor cable. There's no need to mess with any settings. (great way to save space! Knocks out two birds with one stone)

LCD's are completely usable as a monitor as a monitor computers. My Olevia 26" LCD TV has a DVI and VGA input (both computer).
There are TVs out there that allow you to do what you want.

The LCD televisions are all the same technology as computer monitors. Most moder video card have the DVI outputs, and ALL HDTV monitors have this input usually along with HDMI and the older technology inputs.
Yes they can. And the do really well.
Just don't hook up your computer to a Plasma display. Bad things happen to them. A good friend found this out the expensive way. He listened to the moron at the store and plunked down $12,000 bucks for a new Pioneer. Within a week of playing his FPS PC, and XBOX360, the screen was permanently burned in.
He is still crying...

If you have a nice Tv (not trying to brag but we have a NICE tv) you can hook up a DVI cable throught the back. mine has 2 DVI plugs 1) for our DVD player and 2) for a computer. also some might have just an analog port. mine has this also but it is poor quality on my TV. I did do flight sim for about 2 months on my TV and if you have a high def. TV with some good payware and activesky... DO IT lol

I have a 50 inch Plasma Pioneer. It has the computer DVI input which I use sometimes for PC gaming. I have had no trouble with images getting burnt into the screen. Although my Pioneer has a feature that allows you get burn in images out by using a white out feature that takes the burnt part away. But as of yet I have had not Problems with burn in,.

I have been using a 32 inch Westinghouse lcd, and I love it. Some complain about distortion caused by the 16:9 ratio, but it is negligible and becomes insignificant. Check out this thread. http://www.deltava.org/thread.do?id=0xb6c5
Enjoy, Clarke P.S you can put on some clear lens welding goggles tightly and eliminate the distortion.......just kidding
