Ok first off, I need help. My system for the past 3 months or so hasn't been working. I finally decided to take a look at it today and I didn't see what I was expecting, a burnt out cpu. So the problem at first is that when you turn it on, it loads for about 5-10 seconds (give and take a few) and then just turns off. I had taken it apart to clean the dust out earlier. Would that problem be cpu or motherboard.
Also, if I decide to do some testing, would a store like Frys' Electronics take back parts if that is not the problem. I have a very limited budget of $150. I kinda hope its not the motherboard because if it is, that would mean a new processor and that would over do my budget unless I get some slow processor.
One more thing, if I do get a new motherboard, do they come with both PCI-E and APG graphics slots? I can't get a new video card because of my budget again.
thanx in advanced for any imput.
