Hello DVA
I am currently qualified to fly as Capt on the 747 being Capt on the 777 program.
Is there a 747 rating test? and if so, How could I apply for it?. I only see 5 ratings in my profile and the 747 is not there.
Thanks guys.
Cheers

the 747 comes with the 77 if you are a member of DVA. if you wish to be in a 747 program you must switch over to AFV.

Ok....
Thanks.
I just thought that there was also additional ratings such as they are for the 767 and 757.
BTW, I like your signature....

So If you are stage 4 rated, you may fly the 747 on codeshare flights that have 747's such as air france? I know you have to transfer over to Air France to be in that program, but what if you still want to fly Delta with an occasional 747 flight every now and then. Is that possible, just trying to clear things up. I wanna get rated for the 747 and be able to pirep them and also continue to fly for delta. I dont wanna leave DVA.

I received my 747 rating with my L1011 CR passing. If you have a stage 4 rating just email one of the Senior Staff members and they can add the rating for you. I asked David Keech a while back to add it after I purchased the 747.
Good Luck

I know mine came automatically with my stage 4 ratings.... so unless that has changed you shouldn't have to request it.

And how about getting a rating to fly the A380?
Just wondering as I saw an A380 flight on Flightstats from YSSY to WSSS. (not that im very fan of Airbuses)
Cheers

if any of our code shares get an A380 I hope that it'll be a stage 4 aircraft.... But its up to staff in the end.
