Ive tired the PMDG support forums with no luck, so I was wondering if any of you guys that have this plane could help. Ive had this plane for awhile and had no problems until recently.
Problem: In the middle of a flight or right before take off I lose all engine sounds. I can hear all the cockpit noises ie. apu running, switches, flap selection, spoilers, I can even hear other aircraft next to me...everything but the engines themselves. Even if i switch to spot or tower view all I can hear are the cockpit sounds as I stated above. and yes the engines are still running, and I didnt hit mute.
Ive tried just about everything I can think of. Ive double checked speaker connections, sound settings on everything, FS9, PMDG, control panel. I reinstalled the sound update for it. Updated my soundcard drivers and still no luck. Ive been struggling with this problem all day.
Also, a little off topic. Why is it that I cant hear sounds on the internet, ie, youtube videos, but I can play itunes and it works fine? I can fix the problem by rebooting, but wondering what would cause that? very annoying
Im about to throw my computer out the window...please save my computer, haha. jk serously, any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Has anyone heard of this or had this problem. Any input would be appreciated.
