Hello all,
Well I was trying to fly today on my day off but wasnt very lucky.
I got one flight in and that was difficult.
The past few weeks, flight sim ocasionally will just shut down with no message no warning no nothing.
Today, however, I tried to make a flight from BOS to JFK and it shut down 3 Thats Right THREEEE times all before I left the ground.
I wicked confused and angry. I have an average computer, nothing special but not really the "standard" I only use it for flight simulator and nothing else
If anybody has experienced this or has seen this, please get back to me.
Thanks

I had this before after installing new freeware scenery, MMMX. Crashed three times just after landing. Was barely able to taxi to the gate. Uninstalled it and it worked fine after.

Do you use any add-on weather programs other than MS default real-world weather? I've had problems where there was "bad" weather data in ActiveSky and that would cause random FS CTD. Have you noticed this at any airport or at specific airports? Installed anything new to FS lately?

Nothing new to Flight Sim. I used to use activeSky but stopped- Flight simulator wx is just as good( Almost but not really)
The only thing that you mentioned nathan, is all three times it has been snowing/wintery weather. Other than that, nothing new As I said- I will try it again later on, I just got home from working the night shift so well see later

Find a condition where FS crashes, then recreate it with clear weather and see if it still crashes... but I've never heard of this being an issue with FS internal weather.

Boy, I have very good news for you and the fix is very simple to do.
On some computers the casche is still storing the memory chips, will get full and then the crash.........
You see, I am one of those guys that never turns off my computer,24/7.
Now every morning I do a complete shout down and turn power off completely," don't do a reboot"
leave the power of for 5 minutes and then do a startup and the windows program has emptied the memory cache out and you will not have any more crashes. I hope this will work for you too.
Happy landings.
