Some folks wasasking about this on ACARS chat yesterday. I've done it before, and i'm pretty sure a lot of people out there have done it too, but not too many people are aware that this freeware (fleet 75/76) has the capabilities, but it does. You can actually find the instructions on how to do it in the panel manuel by Lonny Payne t hat comes with the download. The basic gist of it though, capture the localizer and intercept the ILS at the right altitude, and make sure both your CMD buttons are lit.

You cant fully auto land on any free ware aircraft besides that there is no fun in auto landing you don't get to do anything... Do you know what i mean like you just a 2 hour flight on auto pilot then you let the plane land it self .... i realized it after i learned how to do auto lands it isn't mutch fun and other plane like wilco A320 and PMDG737 those don't do it very well but they can do it.

But some weather you HAVE to autoland, below min's.
But I know what you mean, my first 20 or so landings with the Level-D were ALL autolands, then started hand-flying them and just last night finally made an autoland to make sure the thing still worked! Had not made one in close to a year.
Another thing to do is hand-fly the aircraft up to cruise every once in awhile. All the button pushing will really erode your hand-flying skills quickly if you never actually hand fly the aircraft.

No sure what you mean by full autoland Jason, but i've done it in the fleet 757 many times just for kicks to see how it works. It even retards the throttles for you as you come to about 50.

I does , it flares for you also. Trust me, when I had finally read through the manual (never did because it's freeware) I saw the auto-land feature and tried it out. Everything went as planned. It brought me over the runway, flared and brought back the throttles to idle. The only thing you have to do is reverse. Try it out, if you do it right, you'll see what Im talking about.
::EDIT:: As a side note, I usually hand fly below 7,000. It's more fun that way anyway, I just tune ,my radios so I can follow the correct path to the runway but that's about it. I just made this post because some guys was asking about the feature the other day.

It does have autoland, however it "attempts" to flare. Meanwhile it's starting it's flare I've already touched down at -500 though -700 f/tmin. And like you guys said, unless the weather is bad, why would you autoland?, it takes the fun out of it.

First off, whether or not autoland is fun or not is complete opinion, the real question Andrew is trying to ask is how to do it-so let's get back on topic shall we?
Andrew, you seem to have it right, you input your ILS frequency and once you're on the glide slope make sure you have both CMD's pressed and the plane should land for you. Flare, retard, all that stuff. I'm not sure if it does reverse thrust though...
However my personal experience shows that the feature rarely gives you a good feet/minute rating (usually rating at least -500 f/m) and doesn't work very well in crosswinds.
My opinion on autoland: It is a good feature to include if weather is below minimums and you might make an even worse landing by hand... You can also use it if you're just a little lazy-there are not any requirements for use after all. However I find that 99% of the time approach hold without autoland is much smoother. I also believe that you should always know how to safely fly the plane in all conditions and all phases of flight by hand. Even if you'll never have to, there is no point in having a pilot at all if you lack such knowledge.
The choice is yours!

Alex, when you say rollout mode, do you mean how to perform a rollout in that aircraft, or how autoland performs a rollout?

"I'm not sure if it does reverse thrust though... ". Not sure about the real thing but you have to reverse youself when you doing it in the fleet.

Speed, Speed, Speed gentleman. Any aircraft can be setup perfectly for a perfect autoland, BUT 15 knots either way in terms of vref/vapp and it will have near disastrous consequences.
One way the aircraft "rotates" the mains into the ground while attempting to flare, speed the other way the thing will float off the far end of the runway like a May butterfly.

Correct me if i am wrong gents, but it seems that the autoland in the 75 and 76 panel doesn't work for FSX. I have tried multiple times just to see how it works, but it doesn't flare. I read the instructions and everything, but still doesn't work.
