It appears that FSNavigator has closed shop and abandoned the product according to their website and forum discussions. I'm looking for a replacement and would appreciate any suggestions.

Been using FSBuild for years. Used in combination with http://www.simroutes.com/ and / or http://rfinder.asalink.net/ it's great for trip / waypoint planning as well as a wide veriety of saving formats for add-ons. It isn't used for inflight "management" rather only pre-flight management.
For inflight management I strongly recommend http://vas-project.org/ which is freeware, works with any panel and is a great FMC for freeware panels.

FSNav still works, there is no more support for it, except for user wise, There is no more SID/STAR database, you have to make you own now.

Thanks to all for the comments and suggestions. FSNav should still work as someone pointed out ... but no support and no database updates. It appears that it will never be updated for FSX either. The owner has posted a curt "Closed Shop" message that appears when you attempt to accesss the FSNavigator website.

Guess I need to give FSBuild a try. I like FSNavigator and will probably keep it for FS2004 but I've been looking for something to use in FSX. Also going to give the vasFMC a try. I really like the FSM function on FSNavigator on loooong flights and hopefully vasFMC will be a good replacement.

Have used FSNAV for quite a while now. Still works fine, but your right, no more support. I just have to build my own SID/STARs then save 'em as I make 'em. Was hoping they were going to get the FSX version running. Alas....

FSbuild I think is a great alternative although it is not the same as FS Nav.
A few distinctions:
-FSNav is solely a graphically based flight planner, FS Build is primarily text based, although it does have a powerful text / graphic combination for advanced users, but it is not nearly as simple / elegant as FS Nav's interface. FS build's strength is parsing flight plan acquired from an outside source (such as flight aware or simroutes) and converting it into a variety of FMC / GPS formats, including FS default.
-FS Nav can function as its own FMC and runs inside of FS, while FS build is external and offers no FMC function (although, as I mentioned, it will export to FS GPS, so you can use the GPS).
-FS Build is more powerful in terms of fuel planning, as it will take winds aloft from Active Sky, and it will produce a nice, professional looking nav log that includes weights, ETAs, ARTCC each waypoint is in (useful for flying on VATSIM and determining where you enter a controller's airpsace. FS Build will also predict step climbs using profiles available from the website.
I've used FSBuild for a number of years now and consider it integral to my flightplanning!

I have not used it myself but FS Commander may be an alternative to FSNAV. Its my understanding that you can run it on a remote computer. Myself, I have FSNAV and will be looking at FSbuild in the future.

I am kinda bummed out that FSNAV will no longer be supported. I myself probably do it the hard way but I copy and paste the actual route from Flightaware.com for the route I am going to fly, then paste it into FSbuild. Once it builds it ( I have it build to FSNAV as well to the actual plane like PMDG) then I can see the route in FSNav. Particularly helpful when flying a plane with no FMS as it will fly the plane like a FMS. One good thing I don't think anyone has mentioned here tho, is the cut and paste option and FSBuild will build it so you fly a real world route the same day it was flown accounting for the winds etc.
