Thanks. I think I set it up without using automatically system memory. I now set let's manually memory as much as you use memory. I did not changed the last time the FS 2004 runs perfectly before. I have NO idea what's going on with Vista or FS 2004 doing. I am trying to reinstalled Rome scneery to see if it works again it has nothing do with Rome scenery to crash Fs2004. I didn't know. It drives me crazy too many problem after installed FS 2004. Thanks a million to the author of Bremen scenery damaged my ai traffic.

Stuart,
The same thing happened to me; the thing is that you have to sometimes take apart your computer and use a keyboard duster to get the dust of of the RAM and the video card. Also try to spray down everything else why you are at it. Go and perform a disk defragmenter for your system. That really helps. If you get it fixed or already got it fixed, let me know.

My Windows Vista has already set schedule automatically defragment daily. I found out that viryual memory is low. I chnaged to higher MB. It works fine I flew test flight take to land. No more stopped. Whew. What a bummer virtual memory doing for? I did not change set after unistall and reinstall FS2004. I have no idea what's up with this computer doing! It's really driving me crazy!

Simple really-too much memory! Just delete programs you don't want, or get more space on the computer.

Hey guys,
Guess what? I found out. I'm blind! I found the scenery.cfg was screwed it up. Maybe FS 2004 running circulate the scenery runs. If the scenery is missing other place ei: KOAK is missing. I'm in Rome for a while running for Rome and somehow FS2004 circulate scenery if something is missing like FS2004 hits the wall doesn't know where it goes then crashed. I'm assuming that a problem. It has nothing to do with memory or something. I don't really know why. I test flight Rome FCO to Rome CIA. It went fine. I don't know about long or medium flight yet. I'm going to try to fly tomorrow evening. Don't you think if scenery.cfg missing for airport and can cause problem FS crash?

yes - the easiest thing to do os to put in the FS2004 disc 1 and repair/reinstall. It will not delete or erase your old fi;les - it will go through the entire set up and fix what is missing/broke.
If you are looking specifically for an item (city scenery, etc. to copy and throw back on the HD directly - the FS2004 4 CDs are broken down like this:
disk1
msgame1.cab -folders- 1033,aircraft,autogen,charts,config,effects,flights,fonts
msgame2.cab -folders- fsweb,
disk2
msgame3.cab -folders- gauges,indeo,lessons,messages,modules,script,texture,uires,weather
msgame4.cab -folders- sound/usenglishsmall.gvp
msgame5.cab -folders- sound/usenglishbig.gvp
msgame6.cab -folders- sound,
disk3
msgame7.cab -folders- scenery/cities/newyork,seattle
msgame8.cab -folders- scenery/base,eure,eurw,generic,namc,name,namw,props,vehicles
msgame9.cab -folders- scenery/cities/dallas,denver,oshkosh,stmaarten,
disk4
compact - scenery.cfg
complete - scenery.cfg
scenery/cities/ remaining from disk3
scenery/afri,asia,aust,ocen,same,world
