After installing the new CRJ a funny thing happened. I'm now getting sparks & smoke just off the right wingtip. This happens no matter which ac I use. Any ideas? Any help appreciated.

The problem you appear to have is a tail or wing tip strike (that is what would normally cause sparks.) But since you said it happens with every aircraft I suggest uninstalling the CRJ and then going from there.

Be careful with the 732, we can't throw them away like we can with the 738's! You definetly had a wing strike, I get the same thing if i bank to hard to close to the ground.

It's the famous FS MIG welder...
That effect is apparently hard coded and can't be removed...

Yep! Guess that was it. Must have been wing stike. After re-boot, everthings fine. Sorry for the alarm but thank all of you for your prompt replys. Good to know there's people out there you can count on.

An aircraft download shouldn't cause that to all the other aircraft.

Joseph,
I have had this effect pop up on me, usually from some strike. You don't have to reboot, simply select reset flt and it solves the problem. Try it, you'll like it.
Take care, Clarke

I think all POSKY aircraft have that effect. If you pull back too hard too slow, you will tailstrike and get that effect out the back (I'm thinking of the 744 v3). If you are too far to the side, you will start the engines on "fire." I don't like the effect. BTW, I got a new signature by Andrew Kaufmann
