Thank you Mark! I did; I really think that everyone should be a member of another VA before they come to DVA. Our family here at DVA is awesome, we have the only ACARS system of it's type, no other system is used to file your flight reports even comes close. We have a community that for the most part is friendly and willing to help each other. We are professionals, that can be seen when only the DVA pilots use UNICOM (122.80) and adhere to the rules of the sky. We have a structure that is second to none, in that we do not have to record our check flights and we are the only place that yields our pilots instant feed back on their equipment tests. Our flight school is so much beyond the others that the ratings of PPL and/or CPL augmented to ones name is something to brag about. Finally DVA is the only place I have seen where stats are available for each members flight records, making us some of the best pilots out there! Our statistical system yields validity to our program. ATC controllers out there know that we come in force, and we know how to fly! It is not unusual to see other airlines on the ground, but we dominate each airport by our beautiful colors! You can’t help but notice them; they are unique, unmistakably identifiable and intimating! We have the only flight schedule available, where even our young pilots can choose from, instead of working on a seniority or bid system, making it much easier for our guys to gain experience. We have the only airline that one can move through the ranks and are able to fly the heavy birds, by merely testing out, instead of waiting for attrition to work on their behalf.
Guys basically you should be proud to be a DVA pilot, you are part of the one of the most successful programs out there; we are a vanguard (setting the bar for others to envy) We one big family and it shows!
