Hello everyone. I am thinking about buying a passenger addon for FS9. I was wondering if I should get Xpax, FS passengers, or some other program. I am using the demo version of FS Passengers, and I think it is ok. However, I would like others' opinions as these aren't cheap addons. Thanks

I've never heard of Xpax, do you have a website for it? Does it have a demo version. I have run the demo of FSPax and all I can say is that its worth buying it if you have the money to. Thats all I need..haha

Casey - even though XPAX is compatible for FSX and FS9...i have heard mixed reviews.
Personally, I would spend the money on FSPassengers...unless you plan on running FSX.
Although - if you have both FS9 and FSX - I would buy XPAX
anyway:

Yeah, well I plan on running both in the future. I have both, FS9 runs great and FSX doesnt really that well, but still good. So I stick with FS9 for the time, but I do sort of run both.

I am going to go with FSPassengers also. XPax may be cheaper, but I feel that it is much better. Besides you can buy it in box or download. XPax only does download which doesn't work for everyone, like me.

They are very different programs. XPax is mostly providing the sounds of passengers and flight attendants during the flight. It board passengers, and give you an average passenge rating, but again I think most use it for the sounds. FSPASSENGERS is more of a passenger game within itself. It allows you to earn money and buy new planes. You can do both good and bad things to raise or lower your score. In Xpax, you only get docked points for different things. Sorry about the long post, but I think it is good for people to know the difference.

My 45$ that I bought Pspax with , were probably the most worthwhile money I ever spent on FS addons, really ,
FS suddenly became a new type of game where things like sloppy flying mattered. I really hope this is carried
much further in the next version , things like animated pax. animated faults , more flight stage management.
Star SID watch . more detailed reporting . more subtle fault scenarios etc. those would just take FS to complete new level .
